The Nissan Skyline was first created by the Prince Motor Company in 1957. After all, the R34 is unfortunately one of those cars that are illegal in the US. Let’s see how you can get an R34 imported to the country. The Nissan GT-R has undoubtedly won the title of the vehicle with the most majestic moniker ever. Thanks to its appearances in popular cult media like the Gran Turismo video games and the Fast and the Furious movies. In fact, is a Nissan Skyline R34 even legal in the US? Generation after generation has grown up hearing about the GT-R. So how much is an R34 and is it possible to import it to the US? But how much does it really cost to import Godzilla to the United States? You might already be too late if you wanted to purchase an imported R34 GTR as the prices have skyrocketed now. Also of course, it has the N1 water and oil pumps. The legendary RB26DETT, and being the Nur model it comes with the N1 engine variant, which among other differences, is a thicker walled block with lightened/balanced pistons, rods and crank. The Nismo smoked indicators and Nismo LED tail lights help give a more modern appearance to the lighting, with the LED tail lights looking fantastic.Ī beautiful example of a very rare car indeed. The wheels are in superb condition as you would expect, with only one very small mark present on a front wheel lip.Ī Z-Tune front bumper is fitted, which gives a brutally aggressive look, helped further by the addition of the Nismo side and rear spats. The Ray’s Engineering alloy wheels are a perfect addition to the R34 GTR, giving a nice aggressive and modern look. Nismo carbon fibre b pillar covers are also fitted, and are as new. The usual areas to look at on the R34 GTR are all very good, the original Carbon bonnet is still in place, and in very good condition, with a lovely carbon weave evident across the panel, as is the carbon fibre rear diffuser. Of the 718 V Spec II Nur models produced, only 141 of them were in the QX1 Pearl White colour we see here. Having recently benefited from a full bodywork detailing session, the bodywork of this example really does look fantastic, and particularly striking in the rare pearl white. We have many more pictures which are available upon request. This example is #336/718 and was originally optioned with Privacy Glass, SatNav & 6 Speakers, Side Airbags. It also comes with a gold chassis plaque. The Nür model featured an improved RB26DETT engine based on the N1 racing engine.Īs well as the Nür engine, the Nür models also included a different colour of stitching on the interior trim, as well as a speedometer reading up to 300 km/h (186 mph), and gold valve covers instead of red. In total only 718 R34 GT-R V Spec II Nür(s) were produced. The Nür was named after the famous German Nürburgring racetrack, where the Skyline was developed. In February 2002 Nissan released a final production model of the R34 GT-R called the Skyline GT-R V-spec II Nur. The R34 GTR is a special car itself, but a V Spec II Nur variant with this mileage, Japanese history, and such a great specification is very rare, and becoming ever more sought after.
